About me!
I'm Pishi (he/him, 10/31/2002), a former and aspiring resident of Chicagoland, currently stuck in Austin, Texas. A long-term goal of mine is to move back around where I grew up.
I love drawing, programming, tea and coffee, vintage computers and keyboards, Linux, cross-country running, electronic music, and the Sega Dreamcast. If you're wondering what the green spiky thing in my mouth is, it's a "virus" from an agar.io clone called germs.io, a terrible yet formative game throughout my childhood. I'm also a former competitive Tetris player and YouTuber.
My heart is set on using technology to solve my problems, and art to make meaning of my life. I have loved both since childhood as I made games in TI-BASIC for my classmates to play on my graphing calculator and drew terrible comics for those same friends to read each morning. My childhood dream was always to spend every day drawing comics for a newspaper, and in the current era that's not too far off from having amazing people there for me on the Internet when I post my art. I would say I'm living the dream already, at least in that sense.
Still, I'm not where I want to be. I hope I can one day create something that inspires people the way others did for me when I was lost and struggling with a distorted identity malformed by conformity.
